Jada Rossman
LEVEL Guide
Jada Rossman serves as a LEVEL Guide for those on the LEVEL Path℠. She is a knowledgeable and welcoming partner to renters along their journey to homeownership. Jada prioritizes inclusivity, accessibility, and trust while developing meaningful relationships within the community. Often our participants’ first point of contact, her goal is to empower aspiring homeowners with diverse resources and personalized guidance during the homebuying process. Understanding that every family is unique, Jada meets residents where they are while building a bridge to stable residency. Without judgement and focused on solutions, she makes navigating the steps to owning a home less intimidating by outlining a clear course forward. Jada’s work anchors LEVEL’s mission to affect positive change within the region’s affordable housing landscape.
Graduating from Harvard University with a degree in Urban Planning, Jada is dedicated to edifying the intersection of public and community health. She’s had the spark to be of service to others since she was a teen, even considering becoming a teacher, a doctor, or a psychiatrist. After taking a summer internship with Jackson Clark Partners doing community census work in her sophomore year of college, Jada found her calling in the public service sector. Prior to joining the LEVEL team, she worked in several neighborhood-based positions including University of Pittsburgh, Family House, Inc., and Count Me In Community Corps. These opportunities were formative in Jada’s advocacy for housing-first policies that focus on sustainable urban renewal. The combination of top-tier education, boots-on-the-ground experience, and passion for doing good, Jada is poised to make a lasting impact at LEVEL.
Cultural competency is one of Jada’s many strengths. She’s fluent in Spanish, having taught English in Madrid for a year after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Sciences with a minor in Music Theory from University of Pittsburgh. Growing up in Erie, PA, Jada explored self-expression through music. In her spare time she enjoys singing and playing piano, particularly jazz, a genre known for breaking barriers and redefining accepted norms. In the spirit of Mary Lou Williams and Billy Stayhorn, Jada aims to help nurture vibrant and thriving communities in Pittsburgh and beyond.
